Worlds of Amano (originally released in French under the title Les Mondes d'Amano in 2004, and later translated into English by Dark Horse in 2007) is a retrospective artbook covering the illustrator's entire career. Spanning 153 pages, the collected works offer a comprehensive overview of the first thirty years of the author's unique career. It notably revisits his creations for Final Fantasy and Vampire Hunter D, as well as illustrations from his other artbooks. The book also features a beautiful illustration by Moebius, depicting his Major Grubert pausing to paint a figure that strongly resembles D, the hero of Vampire Hunter D, accompanied by a small Moogle in the corner.
