Märchen (メルヒェン) is an artbook by Yoshitaka Amano inspired by European fairy tale folklore. It features reinterpretations of iconic characters such as Little Red Riding Hood, the Big Bad Wolf and other figures from Grimm and Perrault. Amano transposes them into his unique visual universe, blending poetry, mystery and a distinctive strangeness that transforms these familiar stories into timeless works of art.
